WHY NOT WAIT
This decision is best made while everything is clear
An enduring power of attorney can only be signed while you have the capacity to understand and decide. Without one, if you can no longer manage your affairs, your family may have to go through a court procedure to appoint a guardian, at the most sensitive moment.
With the document you decide who acts for you, in which areas and under which limits. It is all written, clear and agreed in advance.
And what happens without one?
- 01Your family may have to apply to a court to appoint a guardian.
- 02The guardian is decided in a legal procedure, and is not necessarily the person you would have chosen.
- 03The procedure may take time, and meanwhile it may be hard to manage financial and health matters.
- 04Your wishes and instructions are not written down anywhere, so whoever decides for you will not know what matters to you.

WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK?
The questions everyone asks before starting
"I am healthy, it is too early"
That is exactly why you can do it now. The document is signed only while you have capacity, and it cannot be arranged once capacity is lost.
"I do not want to lose control"
You decide who is appointed, in each area, and which instructions and limits apply. While you have capacity, the document can be changed or cancelled in accordance with the law.
"It must be complicated"
The process is explained step by step, in plain language. The consultation carries no obligation, and before you begin you will know exactly what the process involves.
"It is hard for me to get to the office"
We can come to you at home, by prior arrangement. The consultation can also be held by phone or video.
"My parents will not want to talk about it"
It is a delicate conversation, and we are used to it. You can first consult us as a family member, and we will explain how to raise it gently. The document is signed by the parent personally.
"I do not know whom to choose"
We will go through the options together: one attorney or several, division by area, and instructions. The decision is yours, and we are here to make it clear.
We come to you
When getting to the office is difficult, a meeting can be arranged at the client’s home, in the area between Gedera and Hadera. The meeting is arranged in advance, and family members can attend.

Part of the process can be handled online: a consultation by video or phone, coordinating the details and sending documents by email or WhatsApp. The document is drawn up and deposited with the Public Guardian online. The person granting the power of attorney signs in a personal meeting before a lawyer, as the law requires. The person appointed as attorney-in-fact can sign online.

Can I arrange an enduring power of attorney online?
Part of the process can be handled online: a consultation by video or phone, coordinating the details and sending documents digitally. Signing online is possible only for the person being appointed as attorney-in-fact. The person making the appointment (the one granting the power of attorney) signs in a personal meeting before a lawyer, in accordance with the law. In the consultation we explain exactly what can be done remotely and what needs a meeting.
What is an enduring power of attorney?
A legal document that allows a person to decide in advance who will make decisions about their personal, medical and financial affairs, if they can no longer do so themselves in the future.
Who can prepare an enduring power of attorney?
The document is prepared with the assistance of a lawyer who meets the requirements of the law and confirms the person’s capacity at the time of signing. You are welcome to contact us to clarify the requirements in your case.
Can the document be changed or cancelled?
As long as the person has capacity, the document can be changed or cancelled, in accordance with the requirements of the law. We are glad to explain how.
Do you come to the client’s home?
Yes, by prior arrangement, in the area between Gedera and Hadera. When getting to the office is difficult, a meeting can be arranged at the client’s home.
Do I need one if I already have a will?
A will deals with what happens to property after death, while an enduring power of attorney deals with who decides for you during your lifetime if you cannot do so yourself. They are two different documents, and both can be arranged together.
